TERMS & CONDITIONS

LAST UPDATED: MARCH 2026

Hey there, future collaborator! At Hashcord Agency, we're all about turning your big ideas into digital powerhouses with our web development, app development, SEO, digital marketing, and custom solutions. These friendly Terms & Conditions are our shared playbook for a smooth ride. By diving in, you're on board—simple, fair, and geared for your success. Questions? Our contact form's always open for a quick chat.

1. Service Agreement

Hashcord provides comprehensive digital services including web and mobile application development, search engine optimization, and digital marketing strategies. Every project is governed by a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) that defines the specific scope, delivery timelines, and project requirements. We utilize an Agile development methodology to allow for iterative improvements and flexibility. Any modifications to the project scope must be requested in writing and may result in adjustments to the original timeline or professional fees to account for the additional resources required.

2. Intellectual Property

All creative assets, including source code, graphic designs, and digital materials, remain the exclusive property of Hashcord until the client has fulfilled all payment obligations in full. Upon final settlement, full ownership and usage rights are transferred to the client. Hashcord retains the right to display anonymized project results and non-confidential screenshots within its professional portfolio unless the client explicitly opts out in writing. The client grants Hashcord a limited, non-exclusive license to use client-provided materials solely for the duration of the project.

3. Payment Policy

Hashcord simplifies global transactions by accepting payments via Wise, bank transfers, PayPal, and major credit cards. To initiate a project, a commencement deposit of 30% to 50% is required, which secures your slot in our development cycle and covers initial research and environment setup. The remaining project fee is structured around verifiable milestones; each milestone represents a specific phase of development (e.g., UI/UX Design, Frontend Development, Backend Integration). Upon the completion of a milestone, the client will be provided with a direct demonstration or a temporary preview link to review and validate the progress. Payment for each milestone is due upon client approval of that phase and before work begins on the subsequent step. Our standard payment term is Net-30. To maintain project momentum and fairness, any account remaining unpaid after the 30-day window will trigger an immediate "Code-Freeze." During a Code-Freeze, all active development is paused, and all technical support is suspended until the account is current. In accordance with Shariah principles, we do not charge interest on late payments; however, if a client with the financial means to pay is unjustifiably late, a fixed administrative fee may be applied to cover Hashcord's actual recovery costs (such as bank fees or administrative time). Alternatively, at Hashcord's discretion, the client may be required to donate a pre-agreed amount to a registered charity as a penalty for the delay. Final ownership transfer, including the delivery of source code and deployment to the client's live environment, occurs exclusively after the final balance has been cleared in full. Should a client choose to terminate the project early ("Early Out"), they are responsible for pro-rated payments covering all milestones achieved to date, plus a nominal administrative fee to cover committed resources and project closure tasks.

4. Revisions & Acceptance

To ensure project alignment, each development phase includes 2 to 3 rounds of revisions as specified in the SLA. Requests for additional revisions beyond this limit will be billed at our standard hourly consulting rate. Upon delivery of a milestone, the client has a 7-day review period to provide feedback or request adjustments. Failure to provide feedback within this window constitutes formal acceptance of the deliverable. Any modifications requested after formal acceptance will be treated as maintenance services and billed accordingly.

5. Warranties & Liability

Hashcord provides a limited 14-day warranty following the project launch, during which we will remediate any identified technical defects—defined as a failure of the code to perform according to the original, agreed-upon specifications—at no additional cost. THIS WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO THE PRODUCT AS DELIVERED; ANY REQUESTS FOR NEW FEATURES, DESIGN ALTERATIONS, OR FUNCTIONAL ADD-ONS ARE EXCLUDED AND WILL BE BILLED AT OUR STANDARD HOURLY RATE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HASHCORD DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Following this 14-day period, the software is provided "as-is," and Hashcord makes no further warranties regarding performance due to the evolving nature of technology. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from our services is strictly limited to the total fees paid by the client. Hashcord is not liable for issues caused by third-party services (including hosting providers, APIs, or plugins), client-side modifications, or external platform changes. While we commit to transparent communication during such occurrences, the client acknowledges that the 14-day window is strictly for bug fixes of the existing scope, and any support beyond this timeframe or scope will be treated as a new, billable service request.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate the service agreement by providing 14 days' written notice. In the event of an early termination, the client is obligated to pay for all verifiable work performed up to the termination date, and any remaining unused deposits will be refunded minus administrative costs. Hashcord reserves the right to terminate the agreement immediately in the event of a material breach, such as non-payment.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by international commercial standards. In the event of a disagreement, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith mediation. If mediation fails, the dispute shall be settled through binding arbitration in a jurisdiction determined by Hashcord.

8. Changes

Hashcord reserves the right to modify these terms to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements. We will notify active clients of any significant updates via email, and the continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
